In 2001, Jacob Yount moved from the United States of America to Nanjing, China. For the first 2 and half years, he worked for a Spanish exporting company and learned the basics; factory management, sourcing, the “in’s and out’s” of China business and production.

In 2004, Jacob and his wife Leeds started JLmade. Hard work and a loyal customer base made JLmade a thriving China and Hong Kong business. JLmade focuses on manufacturing branded merchandise and custom-design items, handling general sourcing and working in plastic molding.

The JLmade team manages inquiries from around the globe; daily working in product development, design and production.
